Crop yield potential and health are impacted by soil nutrition and water quality. Our soil and water tests give you an understanding of soil composition, including toxicity and nutritional constraints.
Soil forms the matrix in which crops grow and from which they derive inorganic nutrients. Water forms the vector by which inorganic nutrients are transported from the soil matrix to the plant. Plant nutrition comprises macro and micro nutrients and trace elements - all are important for balanced nutrition. Properties of the soil and/or the water also dictate the availability of these nutrients to the plant.
Reason for analysis
It is important to perform soil and water testing to know if your seeds and grains have enough nutrients to grow into successful crops.
At AgEtal we are able to provide a broad spectrum soil and water test by chemical analysis. This is a time-consuming operation and is not suited to large numbers of samples. However, we are able to get a good understanding of the nutritional profile of soil and water including antagonistic components.
